About Us
The Grange Choral Society was founded in 1961and has grown over the years to be a large choir with an excellent reputation.

We have over a hundred members and are privileged to perform three times a year in the magnificent Christchurch Priory.

Over the years The Grange Choral Society has performed many different choral pieces ranging from favourites like the Messiah and the Mozart Requiem to pieces composed by more modern composers like Karl Jenkins and John Rutter to Matthew Coleridge, a local Dorset composer.

We meet to rehearse on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in a local school and sometimes in the Priory. Our choir is very friendly, and we are blessed with our talented Musical Director, Simon Earl, who is not only an excellent teacher but also makes the rehearsals very enjoyable.
